Hemen yanı başında kurulan dönemin en önemli şehirlerinden Ceasarea bu günkü adıyla Kayseri Kapadokya’nın önemini daha da arttırdı. Bizans ve roma dönemlerinde Kapadokya Hristiyanlar için bir sığmak görevi gördü. 4 ve 11 yüzyıllar arasında birçok kilise, manastır ve benzeri yapılar burada inşa edildi. Osmanlı ve Selçuklu dönemlerinde ise bozulmadan hoşgörü içerisinde bu gelenekler devam ettirildi.
Zamanla önemini kaybeden Kapadokya 1907 yılında Fransız bir rahibin yer altı kiliselerinin bulmasıyla birlikte tekrar kazandı. Türkiye’nin en önemli turistik noktalarından birisi haline geldi. 1982 yılında Unesco tarafından dünya mirası olarak kaydedildi.

Best Airport Shuttle service for Cappadocia
We were a little concerned about the timing on this one because we had to take a flight at 14:00 and our pick up time was arranged at 11:25 (but there is a little more than one hour driving to the airport), but we had to check in our suitcase and the counter was closing at 13:00. We were not the last ones to be picked up so we had to deviate from the fastest route several times. We made it on time because Kayseri's airport is extremely small, so once there, everything was pretty fast. As it was a shared transfer, regarding the price, I cannot complain.
When we landed, the driver was already there which was super. He offered to carry our bags, and we were given a bottle of water each for the journey. The vehicle was spotless and comfy. The only negative thing that could be said is that it was supposed to be a shared transfer, but due to the time (1:30am) we (2 women) were the only ones there and we were expecting one driver but there were two men (the actual driver and one who was seated as a copilot). There was nothing wrong with that, obviously, but regarding the fact that it was late at night, first contact with the country, and lonely roads, we were a bit anxious at the beginning. It must be said that they completed the transfer excellent and we were dropped off at the entrance of the hotel and everything was perfect.

As usual, Tranigo was excellent. At first the driver showed up early while we were out, but he returned soon afterwards to pick us up. Really reliable service! We will use again.
