Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS), also known as Nassau International Airport, is the main and largest international airport in the Bahamas, situated 13 kilometres from Nassau city centre on the island of New Providence. Nassau Airport is named after Sir Lynden Oscar Pindling, who was the first Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Bahamas, considered to be the father of the nation for many Bahamians. The airport is small but the fourth busiest in the Caribbean, carrying more than 3,500,000 passengers on average each year.
All airport gates are located in a single building with terminals A, B and C reserved for US Departures, International and US Arrivals and International and Domestic Departures respectively.
The airport consists of 3 terminals.
Terminal A: Lynden Pindling International Airport Terminal A hosts Domestic and International Departures and Domestic Arrivals. Terminal A was built in 2011. In this terminal, there are post offices, shopping stores, food and beverage concessions, ATMs, banking services, toilets and land transportation options.
Terminal B: Lynden Pindling International Airport Terminal B hosts the U.S. Arrivals and the International Arrivals. This terminal has an information desk, free wifi, clean toilets and ATMs.
Terminal C: Lynden Pindling International Airport Terminal C serves US Departure Routes only. Terminal C provides services such as information desk, free wi-fi, airport medical centre, airport lounges, duty-free shop, luggage wrapping, retail stores, clean canvas, manicure or massage.
