Domodedovo Moscow Airport
The airport was named after the town adjacent to the airport. The work on the airport started in 1948 and was mainly described as facility No-306. It began its operation in 1962 and hosted postal and cargo planes. It officially served for the domestic airport in 1965. The airport is also the first airport with the parallel runaways and can control over 70 takeoffs and landings per hour.

Terminals
It has terminals for both international and domestic flights.
Terminal 2 - Terminal 2 is a building that served as the official airport for the 2018 FIFA world cup. It is twice the size of Terminal 5 of London Heathrow Airport with an airport 235,000 sq. meters. It has more than 100 check-ins and self-check-in kiosk and special getaway for largest passenger aircraft. It has been designed by a British company using the under-the-roof concept similar to the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
Terminal 3 - It has been used as the entrance to the Aeroexpress platform. It is connected with two parking sectors, a railway line, and a baggage claim area.
