Private Day Tour to Abu Simbel from Cairo by Plane

Duration: The day tour is typically a full-day excursion, starting early in the morning and returning to Cairo in the evening

Itinerary:

1. Early Morning Hotel Pick-Up & Flight To Aswan: The tour begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel/address and transfer to the airport for a domestic flight from Cairo to Aswan. 
    
2. Arrival in Aswan: Upon your arrival at the airport in Aswan, you'll be greeted by our representative.
    
3. Transfer to Abu Simbel: Drive from Aswan by air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Simbel. The journey takes around 3 to 4 hours. During your journey, you will pass through stunning desert landscapes.
    
4. Visit the Temples of Abu Simbel: Once you arrive at Abu Simbel, our first stop is the Great Temple of Ramses II, which is dedicated to Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. This temple was carved into the rock during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II. After visiting this temple, we will proceed to visit the Temple of Hathor, which was built about 400 years after the construction of Ramesses II's temple. 
    
5. Time at the Temples: You'll have sufficient time to climb up onto the roof of either temple for an incredible view of Lake Nasser and its surroundings, or take a boat across Lake Nasser for even more panoramic views, to marvel at the impressive statues, intricate carvings, and historical significance of the temples. 
    
6. Lunch: After the temple visit, you'll have lunch at a local restaurant in Abu Simbel.
    
7. Return to Aswan and Flight to Cairo: After lunch, drive back to Aswan, where you'll catch the return flight to Cairo.
    
8. Arrival in Cairo: Once you arrive back in Cairo, you'll be transferred to your hotel.
